At Cegu Valley Farm, we believe that living in harmony with the land starts with understanding its smallest — and most essential — workers: the bees. As we are certified by the Fiji Beekeepers Association (FBA), we are fully prepared to guide you on your way to loving bees!

That’s right, beekeeping is not just about honey (although, yes, there will be honey). It is about learning how these tiny powerhouses support our entire ecosystem — from pollinating crops to teaching us the beauty of balance in nature.

Our Bee Trainings are designed to take you from curious observer to confident keeper. Each session builds on the last, helping you progress through the levels of beekeeping until you graduate as a certified Bee Keeper — buzzing with knowledge and ready to care for your own hive.

We teach in a hands-on environment, where you will suit up, get close to the hives (don’t worry, we’ve got safety covered), and experience the rhythm of the colony firsthand. There is no better way to learn than by watching the bees do their thing — and trust us, they are pros.

Levels: Each Level takes around 1-2 days to complete

  • Join us for a hands-on experience in hive inspection and management, where you'll learn the essentials of keeping a healthy colony and dive into the sweet process of honey harvesting.

  • Discover the essentials of keeping your bees healthy with practical tips on disease prevention and management and feeding bees, plus learn how to successfully split a hive to grow your apiary.

  • Unlock the art of queen rearing and learn how to raise your own queens—an essential skill for building strong, self-sustaining hives. Perfect for beekeepers ready to take the next step in hive management!

  • Gain hands-on beekeeping experience by joining us during our daily hive operations—learn practical skills, observe real-time colony care, and build confidence alongside experienced beekeepers. It’s a great way to deepen your knowledge in a supportive, hands-on setting!
