Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a place where people can discover their gifts, find hope, and transform God’s love into practices that steward the land in a beautiful, productive, and sustainable manner. We aim to promote a simplistic lifestyle that utilizes permaculture as a means to achieve true wealth and prosperity. We hope to expand our local community into a family of all nations that is strengthened by hard work and fellowship. Ultimately, we strive to pass on a framework for a purposeful life that is found through dwelling in the land and feeding off His faithfulness.

                                  Our Vision

Here at Cegu Valley Farm, we believe in hard work, fellowship and simplicity. Life on the farm is demanding and much goes into the everyday processes of working and sustaining oneself off the land. With that labor comes a need for different resources such as new equipment to expand the farm, resources needed to share knowledge within the community, and outreach to connect the community to the resources we have to offer.

At Cegu, we reinvest most of what we earn back into our farm and into the community to teach, train, and support other local farmers who wish to diversify their crops and or farming techniques. Many of the farming practices today in Fiji involve soil degradation and debt, which can lead to low wages and generational cycles of poverty. We aim to change this cycle, through education and training of sustainable farming techniques - one of which is bee-keeping.
