Ingredients:
5 tea bags (ginger or black tea)
2 liters of water
2 1/2 cups raw sugar
Juice of 2 lemons
1 lemon for garnish
Pinch of salt
Directions
Boil the water in one large pot. Once it has come to a boil, add tea bags and steep for 5-10 minutes until dark in color.
Stir in sugar until dissolved.
Make sure tea has stopped boiling, then stir in lemon juice and pinch of salt.
Cool for one hour, then refrigerate.
Add ice, lemon slices for garnish, and serve.
Makes 2 liters of tea serving 15 cups.
